MPG designs and manufactures packaged and custom RF Waveguide filters. All MPG RF Waveguide filters can be manufactured for lower quantities. L band, S band, C band, X band, Ku band, K band, Ka band and V band in bandpass, band reject, high pass, low pass, diplexer and multiplexer designs.

Construction of our RF Waveguide filters consists of half wavelength chambers, separated by inductive irises. Posts are soldered to the waveguide at both the top and the bottom to appropriately propagate electromagnetic energy. Our RF Waveguide filters are available in both rectangular and circular modes.
Rectangular mode filters are designated in the TE 101 mode from 2.5 to 94 GHz. Circular mode Waveguide filters are TE111 mode filters, fitting bandwidths from 0.1 to 1.8%.
A distinct advantage of MPG rectangular mode filters is the combined use of proprietary and purchased software, executed to reduce tuning time and deliver a high quality, optimized filter solution capable of realizing a high “Q” factor.

Features: Waveguide filters are available in bandwidths from .1% to 20%, in low loss configurations of 2 to 20 sections. Filters are available in a Q range of ~25K @ 1 GHZ to 2500 @25 GHz+. Connectorized and waveguide flange mounts are available. Waveguide filters come in bandpass, band reject, high pass, low pass, diplexer and multiplexer designs.
